The Songbird Vocals vocal studio was set up by Michelle Stratford following a long and illustrious professional career in the music industry.
Based in Eastergate near Bognor Regis and between Chichester & Littlehampton, Michelle teaches private one-one singing lessons to students of all ages and levels; singers, performers, actors, voiceover artists or complete beginners. Whatever the skill level, Michelle helps each and every one of her clients to realise and acheive their full potential by teaching them vocal techniques, taking their voice to new levels and teaching them performance and confidence skills.

About Michelle Stratford
Michelle Stratford is a professional trained singer with over 25 years experience in Stage, Theatre, Television, and Recording.
Entering the entertainment profession straight from college and like so many well-known artists became a Blue Coat entertainer for a famous holiday company in Spain. She was resident singer there for three years, working with fellow Blue Coat Shane Richie.
On her return to England she joined a 1980's all girl vocal group Cover Girls, performing on numerous television shows including The David Essex Show, 3,2,1, The Tom O'Connor series, Mike Reid Show and more.
Cover Girls appeared in Cabaret with such well known names as Cannon and Ball, Jimmy Tarbuck, Russ Abbott, Jim Davidson,The Grumbleweeds, Cilla Black, Freddie Starr and Michael Barrymore.
Appearances for Charity followed and performing for Royalty. The Royal Gala Dinner for HRH The Princess Margaret in aid of the NSPCC. The Royal Charity Gala Dinner and Ball in aid of the Grand Order of the Water Rats for Their Royal Highnesses Prince & Princess Michael of Kent. The group also toured the Falkland Islands entertaining the troops.
In 1985 Cover Girls were topping the bill at such venues as the very prestigious Sporting Club in Monte Carlo. It was some years later when the group decided to part that Michelle was invited to become lead vocalist with The London Classic Pop Orchestra and The Penthouse Experience, a top London corporate band.
Michelle has been fortunate to have travelled and performed throughout the world, appearing at Royal Gala Balls, Company Events and at Major Charity Functions. Appearances have included Bali, The West Indies, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Florence, Venice, Montreux, Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Cannes, Barbados, Prague, France, Spain, Cairo and Kenya.
